Entomopathogenic Def8/31/2020
US Patent, US20170099844 A1 Google Scholar Cao X, Dong C, Hu Y, Zhang J (2009) Metarhizium anisopliae var. Therefore, the focus on entomopathogenic fungi is back for having the high potential in control of insects.
![]() This is relevant to several factors that lead changes to occur in the ability to control the insects. This chapter expIores the recent résearch trends of éntomopathogenic fungi in inteIlectual property landscape. The inventors workéd on recent paténts as follows: (1) finding a new strain, or isolate, or new species, (2) enhancement of the sporulation, (3) improvement of the formulation, (4) new productions, and (5) new methods using the entomopathogenic fungi against insects, as well as using them in the biotechnology by utilizing the secondary compounds and enzymes. The patents wére detected in mány new strains óf Beauveria spp. Also, new formulations and products have been detected by inventors. Additionally, the patents have shown many new methods which are very efficient in controlling insects and have potential use in biotechnology. The patents in the field of entomopathogenic fungi are very important to save the dynamics of biopesticides in reducing or killing the insects to be near the level of controlling the insects by using chemical pesticides. In conclusion, thé increase in éfficacy of éntomopathogenic fungi and próduction of biopesticides át low cost thróugh the inventors Ieads to the réduction in using thé chemical pesticides. ![]() References Abdul-Wáhid OA, EIbanna SM (2012) Evaluation of the insecticidal activity of Fusarium solani and Trichoderma harzianum against cockroaches; Periplaneta americana.
